MechanicMate Digital trading as “MechanicMate” respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
MechanicMate.net is a digital workshop manual store that provides downloadable vehicle workshop, service and repair manuals in PDF and other digital formats. Our products are delivered digitally only and we do not ship physical copies.
We respond promptly to valid DMCA notices that report alleged copyright infringement.
Submitting a Copyright Notice (DMCA §512(c)(3))
If you believe material hosted on or accessible through MechanicMate infringes your copyright, your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or a representative list of such works
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its URL or location on our site
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf
- Your physical or digital signature
Providing false information may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

Counter Notification (DMCA §512(g))
If content has been removed because of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, your Counter Notification must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal or disabling of the content was due to error or misidentification
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number and email address
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Courts of the United States and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant
- Your physical or digital signature
If a valid Counter Notification is received, access to the material may be restored after 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant initiates legal action.
Repeat Infringer Policy (DMCA §512(i))
MechanicMate may suspend or terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We maintain internal records of DMCA related actions to enforce this policy.
